Additional Information:
Equipment: Each zone is to supply at least one match ball and 2 whistles for refereeing.
A complete list of players, with prior playing numbers, and the school they attend is to be given to the convener prior to 8.15am on the day of the trials.
Rules:
- 50 minutes time slot: 45 minute game with 5 minute warm-up.
- Games are best of three (3) sets. Set 1 and 2 up to 25 points and the 3rd set to 15 points.
- If third set is necessary, it will be rally points.
- If time runs out during the third set, the set will only be decided if a team has reached 9 points and has a 2 point advantage.
- If teams are equal after the round robin, positions will be determined by total points for x 100
total points against 1 - No time-outs and substitutes in last minutes.
- Teams with duty to supply two referees, two scorers and four lines people.
During the trial, 10 Girls will be selected to represent Sydney West at the NSW CHS Girls Volleyball Championships to be held Term 1 2027, venue and dates to be advised. All athletes selected in the Sydney West team will be required to pay a levy and purchase uniform.
