The award categories recognise the outstanding work across NSW, week in and week out.
The ceremony honours teachers, principals and schools who consistently support and deliver programs that help students achieve their best through sport and physical activity.
Congratulations to all award winners, who have now earned their place in the ‘hall of fame’.
Nominations are open now for the 2026 awards. Nominations can be submitted through this form.
Teachers, executives or staff in NSW public schools, primary, secondary, central, community and schools for special purposes (SSPs) are eligible to be nominated.
Nominations can be made by any employee in the NSW public school system, for example a principal can nominate someone in their school, a zone president could nominate a teacher from another school but in their zone or a teach could nominate another teacher.
All nominations must be endorsed by the nominated teacher's Principal or Director Educational Leadership.
Nominations open from Week 7 Term 2 until the end of Term 3 (Friday September 25, 2026). Nominations can be submitted through the School Sport Unit 2026 Nomination Form.
