At Narrandera PS, Toni recognises students who display a commitment to their sports and those who apply themselves with a positive attitude and good sportsmanship. She consistently ensures their achievements are celebrated and shared with the school and local communities.

Toni has been the main organiser of a wide variety of sporting activities and challenges for the students of Narrandera PS during her time there. Toni ensures that all students are introduced to a healthy and active lifestyle and facilitates opportunities for students from Low SES backgrounds and also students from ATSI backgrounds.

Toni is a passionate advocate of the NSW Primary School Sports Association and has devoted many years of service as both an administrator and an organiser at local, regional, and state levels. She works to make sure that children from isolated areas of the state have every opportunity to participate and achieve their personal bests in their chosen sports. Her enduring commitment to basketball, among other sports, has seen her inspire many students to outstanding success at zone, state, and national levels.

Toni Kerr embodies all that sport stands for: individuals and teams enjoying sport and fitness in both school and community environments. Her service to school sport has been exemplary and at all times she goes above and beyond what would be expected from a teacher in a similar position. Her passion and commitment to sporting education makes her a most deserving recipient, worthy of recognition.
