Order of events	Wednesday 22nd July - Order of events (PDF 174.90kb) Starting Line Adjustment for 2026 In response to feedback from the 2025 Championships, the start line in 2026 will have two staggered lines approximately one metre apart to ‘support a safer’ and more orderly start, allowing athletes a straighter approach into the first bend. Runners will be positioned based on their association results as follows: - First line - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners - Second line - 4th, 5th and 6th place runners

8:30am - Primary Competitors and managers (2km events) walk the course (weather permitting)

8:35am - Entrance to the course closed for 2km competitors
